East German CPUs

East Germany was a powerhouse of CPU development for the Soviet States.
There were 5 companies making electronics there.
Often East German CPUs will be reffered to as DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik),
the initials of the East German state.

Notes:
FWE Funkwerk Erfurt
The predecessor of MME
ZMD Zentrum für Mikroelektronik Dresden

HFO Halbleiterwerk Frankfurt/Oder

CZJ? Carl Zeiss Jena
World famous for their optics, also make fab equipment now
